Just 35 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport and on the outskirts of the vibrant town of Arusha, Arumeru River Lodge nestles in the heart of ten hectares of lush parkland, in a protected area
that extends into Arusha National Park.
Surrounded by century–old trees, tropical gardens and a small river, the lodge offers a peaceful interlude ideal for beginning or ending a safari. The wildlife is discreetly present: dik–diks, chameleons and vervet monkeys are part of the scenery.
Located in the immediate vicinity of Arusha National Park and Mount Meru, Arumeru River Lodge is the starting point for discovering the most beautiful places around Arusha. It‘s also the ideal stopover before setting off to climb Kilimanjaro.

Arumeru Lodge ‘s spacious cottages have been designed to offer comfort and privacy to the traveler in search of authenticity.
Nestled in the gardens, each features a large veranda opening onto the gardens. The style blends African influences with European touches, creating a warm, elegant ambience. Local wood furnishings, king–size beds, private bathroom with walk–in shower and refined linens create a refined space where you instantly feel at home.
Some suites can accommodate families, while preserving everyone‘s privacy. Here, nature enters the room without ever disturbing the peace and quiet. A breathtaking view of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru completes the picture.

The lodge offers a wide range of facilities designed to combine comfort and nature. A swimming pool surrounded by tropical gardens, a lounge bar, a shaded terrace, a boutique selling local crafts, and a quality catering service featuring fresh local produce. Massages are available on request.
Wi–Fi is available in public areas. Naturalist guides are on hand to organize half–day and full–day excursions and safaris in nearby parks.
The lodge also offers discreet relaxation areas for reading or watching monkeys or birds, a laundry service, and a briefing area for private or group safaris.
